Baby Decorator is the “brainchild” of Nancy H. Marcantonio, an interior decorator with a design studio in Southport, Connecticut.  A division of her residential design company, NHM Interiors LLC,  Baby Decorator was created to fill a void in nursery decoration where unique furnishings and custom work are difficult to find. There are vast numbers of nursery furniture shopping sites, but none with the hands-on help and direction Nancy brings to Baby Decorator. There is probably no time more confusing than when expectant parents have to deal with the anxieties of a new baby

She launched Baby Decorator to reach out to a greater number of new parents who want access to custom nursery design . Working together with Pavleta Landjeva, a new mother who focuses on function as well as style,  they have put together a collection of the very best in nursery furnishings.

    Early in her career as creative director of a major women’s fashion magazine, Nancy’s work necessitated extensive travel to cover American, European, and Asian collections, an experience which formulated her knowledge of worldwide markets. As an editor she was highly skilled at finding perfect choices for her readers and was quick to recognize trends that had staying power. She brings an elevated sense of style to her work, as well as an innate ability to hone in on just the right choices for each of her clients. 

     Nancy studied interior decoration at the Parsons School of Design, the New York School of Interior Design, the Christie’s Degree Program in Antiques and the Decorative Arts, and Sotheby’s department of American Fine and Decorative Arts. Her extensive experience and sophisticated style define her work.
